Instructions to the candidates

CCB HAS DECIDED TO PERMIT “RESETTING OF REGISTRATION” ONLY ONCE, IN EXCEPTIONAL CASES.

o It is notified for general information of the candidates, that any error / mistake that occurred during online registration by the candidate, can be corrected by resetting the registration only once during June 14 to 18, 2010.

o Resetting of registration will be done only once at selected Centres mentioned in Annexure I below.

o Wrong entries made during registration that are not matching with AIEEE/CBSE database can be corrected by resetting. If registration is incomplete or candidate has login/password change problems, then also registration can be reset.

o Before resetting of registration, candidates are strongly advised to check their registration details as per the AIEEE score card/ CBSE database.

o CCB will not be responsible for erroneous registration data later and consequences thereof affecting the seat allotment.

Resetting of registration can only be done, if errors/mistakes are of serious nature and are affecting the seat allotment. Registration will be reset only for the following mistakes done during first registration.

1. Wrong entry of gender.
2. Category or sub-category wrongly entered.
Corrections are permitted only according to the category rules (Section 7 of Information Brochure)
3. Wrong entry of State of eligibility
4. Incomplete registration
5. Unable to login or unable to change password

Registration will NOT be reset for the following problems.

1. Errors in names
2. Errors in date of birth
3. Errors in mobile number, e-mail address and postal address (mailing address)


Please note that entries as per the CBSE database regarding category or sub category or name in the AIEEE score card/admit card, even if incorrect, cannot be corrected by resetting of registration.

· Candidates who wish to do “Resetting of Registration” will have to personally approach to any one of the Canters mentioned in Annexure I below.

· The resetting of Registration will be done from June 14 to June 18, 2010 between 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM only.

Procedure for Resetting of Registration

· Candidate shall personally approach to any one of the Centers in Annexure I. No other person will be allowed to reset registration on behalf of the candidate.

· Candidate must bring the following original documents:

o Class X (High School) certificate

o Marksheet of 12th class / Hall ticket of 12th examination

o Score Card / Admit Card of AIEEE 2010 issued by CBSE

o Identity card of school / college of 12th class

· Candidate shall bring one set of self attested copies of above documents and a printout of the registration slip that has incorrect entry (if available).

· Center in-charge will verify all the original certificates and confirm the genuineness and the claim of the candidate

· Candidate will fill and sign Form for Resetting of Registration by tick in the appropriate box(es).

· From the original documents, verification will be done that whether the candidate has made mistake while entering gender or category or sub category or state of eligibility. If this is so, then only candidate will be allowed to do resetting of registration.

· After resetting by the AC incharge, all the entries made by the candidate at the time of first registration will be lost and candidate will have to re-register as a new candidate.

· It is mandatory that candidate shall then do the new registration with correct entries at the Center only, in the presence of AC-in-charge.

· A receipt of re-registration will be generated and printed. Candidate shall sign the receipt. One copy of the receipt will be given to the candidate and another will be retained by the Center.

· A printout of the re-registration slip shall be taken out which will be signed by the candidate and Center-in-charge (along with stamp).

· After re-registration, candidate’s originals shall be returned. Photocopies along with the duly signed Form of Resetting of Registration shall be retained by the Center.
